Thinner, Faster, and Sharper: iPhone 17 Lineup Promises Major Enhancements

As of August 2, 2025, the tech world is abuzz with anticipation for Apple's upcoming iPhone 17 lineup, which is expected to make its debut this September. According to recent leaks, the new series will include four models: the standard iPhone 17, the lightweight iPhone 17 Air, the high-performance iPhone 17 Pro, and the premium iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to be a standout, with a sleeker frame that is approximately 2mm thinner than the current iPhone 16 Pro. This new model is expected to replace the Plus version and feature a 6.6-inch display. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 17 will see a modest increase in screen size, growing from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches.

On the camera front, Apple is poised to enhance the front-facing lens, upgrading it from 12MP to 24MP for sharper selfies and clearer video capture. The base iPhone 17 will likely retain a dual-camera setup, but the Pro Max is rumored to boast a triple 48MP camera system, covering the main, ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses, with support for stunning 8K video recording.

In terms of pricing, the iPhone 17 series is expected to start at $799 in the US, $899 for the Air variant, $1,199 for the Pro, and a premium $2,300 for the Pro Max. Indian and UAE pricing is set at Rs 79,900, Rs 89,900, Rs 1,45,990, and Rs 1,64,990, respectively.
