Tesla has introduced a new entry-level Model 3 Standard in the UK, marking its most affordable offering to date with prices starting at £37,990. This variant is engineered for reduced running expenses, featuring fabric seat inserts, a manually adjustable steering wheel, and a more open center console design. Notably, the often-requested indicator stalk makes a return.
Despite utilizing a smaller battery, the Model 3 Standard achieves an estimated WLTP range of 322-332 miles. Performance has been deliberately limited for the UK market to optimize insurance costs, placing it in the lowest insurance group for any Tesla. The vehicle rides on 18-inch 'Photon' alloys, selected for their economic benefits.
Efficiency remains a highlight, with a projected consumption of 20.9kWh per 160km WLTP. Essential features like the panoramic glass roof and powered tailgate are retained. Tesla confirms that customer deliveries are expected by the end of February 2026, aligning with the introduction of the Model Y Standard.
