TCL is redefining television technology at CES 2026 with its innovative SQD (Super Quantum Dot) Mini-LED series. Leading the charge is the TCL X11L, a flagship model equipped with an astonishing 20,000 local dimming zones and a projected 10,000 nits of peak brightness. This advanced display promises unparalleled color accuracy and contrast, thanks to its next-generation quantum dots and sophisticated Deep Color System.
The X11L aims to deliver a visually stunning experience, offering 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut and employing technologies to minimize blooming and color crosstalk. TCL also announced the QM8L and QM7L SQD Mini-LED TVs, successors to last year's models, and a budget-friendly QM6L. Pricing and release dates for these models are forthcoming.
Beyond the SQD lineup, TCL is developing the RM9L RGB Mini-LED TV, though details remain scarce. While other manufacturers focus on RGB Mini-LED, TCL's SQD approach with the X11L positions them distinctively in the evolving TV market. Further information on the RM9L and other models is expected later this year.
