TCL's Nxtpaper 11 Plus tablet introduces a novel 11.5-inch, 120Hz display featuring Nxtpaper 4.0 technology. This matte LCD screen offers three distinct viewing modes designed to enhance the reading and note-taking experience, aiming to reduce eye strain.
The tablet's VersaView Modes include a standard LCD mode, an 'Ink Paper' mode that simulates monochrome E Ink for extended reading, and a 'Color Paper' mode which mutes colors to resemble color E Ink devices. This latter mode is ideal for enjoying comics or magazines with softer hues.
While the matte finish mitigates glare in well-lit indoor environments, the Nxtpaper 11 Plus still struggles with direct sunlight, unlike true E Ink e-readers. However, for its price point, it presents a compelling budget-friendly option for indoor use, drawing, and digital note-taking.
