The conference will feature 750 startup exhibitors from 60 countries, over 10,000 business meetings, and an expected 60,000 attendees. Organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, SusHi Tech Tokyo emphasizes four key technology domains: AI, Robotics, Resilience, and Entertainment, promising live demos and in-depth discussions.
The SusHi Tech Challenge, a flagship pitch competition, attracted 820 applications globally. The Grand Prix winner will receive ¥10,000,000 and secure an automatic spot in the TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield Top 200, a highly coveted stage for emerging companies.
Beyond the expo floor, city leaders from 49 cities globally will convene for the G-NETS Leaders Summit to address climate resilience and urban sustainability. Corporate partners like Sony, Google, and Microsoft are also actively seeking startup collaborations through reverse pitches, highlighting the event's dealmaking potential.
