Supernatural, a prominent fitness virtual reality game, has officially relaunched as an independent entity after previously announcing its cessation of new content creation by Meta. The game is now available in Early Access via the Meta Horizon Store, featuring a substantial library of remastered and newly introduced workouts. This relaunch signifies a new chapter for the beloved fitness application.
The subscription model for Supernatural has been revised with the relaunch. Users can now expect to pay $20 per month or opt for an annual subscription priced at $200. This marks a significant adjustment from its previous $9.99 monthly fee.
Starting next week, the platform will introduce weekly workout updates. Furthermore, developers have committed to reintroducing favorite back-catalog content in the coming weeks and months, promising enhanced music, higher-definition virtual destinations, and innovative new features.
Supernatural is also set to bring back Supernatural Together, entirely rebuilt from the ground up, and introduce a mobile companion app. This app will allow members to monitor their progress, track heart rate, and remain connected outside of the VR headset experience.
Existing players have a special incentive to transition to the new version. Those who played the original Supernatural game can transfer their accumulated points, start date, streaks, favorites, and badges until December 3rd. Additionally, 'founding members' will receive rewards, commencing with a custom bat and further benefits throughout the Early Access period.
