Steam Reviews Get Hardware Upgrade

Steam has introduced a beta feature that allows users to attach their PC hardware specifications to game reviews. This initiative aims to provide prospective buyers with a clearer understanding of game performance by enabling comparison with similar hardware configurations. Users can create reusable profiles for their PC specs, streamlining the review process.

Furthermore, the beta includes a tool for SteamOS users to anonymously share gameplay frame rate data. This information will assist Steam in assessing game compatibility and enhancing the user experience. The update also allows for written feedback on Deck Verified ratings and addresses issues like library size limitations preventing game installations.
