Anker's P41i: Earbuds Surprise With Smart Charging Case
7 Feb
Summary
- Charging case doubles as a phone stand with integrated USB-C cable.
- Earbud tips feature a unique grille for easier cleaning and wax prevention.
- Limited to SBC and AAC codecs despite ANC and Multipoint support.

The Soundcore P41i earbuds arrive with a charging case that offers several surprising functionalities beyond typical charging. This case features a built-in USB-C cable, which can serve as a makeshift carrying loop or be used to charge your phone. Additionally, an internal flip-up tab, when used with the lid, transforms the case into a convenient landscape phone stand for media consumption.
The earbuds themselves include several thoughtful design elements, such as ear tips with an integrated grille to help prevent earwax buildup and debris, alongside a fine mesh for further protection. These buds are equipped with six microphones for active noise cancellation (ANC) and voice calls, and house 11mm titanium-coated drivers.
Despite these features, the Soundcore P41i have some limitations. Their IPX5 water ingress protection is modest. While they support ANC, transparency mode, Google Fast Pair, and Bluetooth Multipoint, their audio codec support is restricted to SBC and AAC, which may be a drawback for audiophiles seeking higher fidelity wireless audio.
