The Reon Pocket Pro Plus boasts a two-degree Celsius improvement in cooling performance over its predecessor, a 20 percent jump. It directs exhaled hot air upwards, with an adjustable attachment for different clothing necklines. While fans are audible in quiet environments, the device is generally quiet. An optional smart tag monitors ambient temperature and humidity, though its reliability was found to be inconsistent.
The device offers up to 10 hours of cooling on a manual setting and 15 hours in its smart mode. Battery life can be shorter during peak heat, averaging four to five hours in demanding conditions. Charging while wearing is possible via a USB-C cable.
