SOAR AI's Ohio AI Campus Powers Up!

SOAR AI is making significant progress on its AI compute campus in Chillicothe, Ohio. This week, the company is installing crucial low-voltage data hall transformers and cooling plant equipment. The first set of 4,096 AMD Instinct™ MI355X GPUs is slated for service by December 31, 2026, with revenue generation expected to start in January 2027.

The facility is being converted from a former paper mill, incorporating closed-loop liquid cooling and targeting a power usage effectiveness of approximately 1.08. The campus is designed to Uptime Institute Tier III standards and leverages existing power and water infrastructure from the mill.

This GPU deployment is backed by substantial contracts totaling $1.17 billion. SOAR AI projects that these orders will yield between $175 million and $200 million in revenue for 2027, providing strong financial visibility. A second deployment of 4,032 AMD Instinct™ MI455X GPUs is planned for February 2027.

With 154 megawatts of power available and a roadmap to 480 megawatts, SOAR AI has expansion plans. The company intends to deploy two additional tranches of MI455X GPUs in the latter half of 2027, potentially increasing the campus's capacity significantly.
