Skoda Auto has announced that its upcoming entry-level electric SUV, the Skoda Epiq, will be globally unveiled on May 19, 2026, in Zurich. This new model is positioned as Skoda's most affordable EV and is expected to significantly expand the brand's electric vehicle offerings.
The Epiq will measure around 4.1 meters in length, placing it beneath the Skoda Elroq in the global EV lineup. Its design incorporates a 'Tech Deck' front fascia with T-shaped LED daytime running lights and rugged exterior elements, embodying Skoda's 'Modern Solid' design philosophy.
Internally, the Epiq will showcase a minimalist dashboard layout with a focus on usability and space, featuring a freestanding center console and sustainable materials. It is based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB Entry platform, sharing architecture with models like the Volkswagen ID Polo.
Skoda has confirmed that the Epiq will offer a driving range of up to 425km. While detailed powertrain specifications are pending, the vehicle is designed to make electric mobility more accessible, particularly in European markets.
