Shokz is enhancing the open-ear listening landscape with its new OpenFit Pro earbuds, launched on January 6, 2026. These earbuds introduce groundbreaking open-ear noise reduction technology designed to minimize ambient sound, allowing users to focus on their audio with greater clarity. This feature can be manually activated and adjusted, with Shokz estimating a reduction of 12 to 16dB at default settings.
The OpenFit Pro aims to provide enhanced audio quality and user flexibility across various environments, from busy offices to noisy cafes. Unlike traditional noise cancellation, this technology maintains situational awareness while creating a quieter personal soundstage. The earbuds also boast optimization for Dolby Atmos, delivering an immersive spatial audio experience through two speakers in each earbud.
Available for preorder starting January 6, 2026, in black and white, the Shokz OpenFit Pro is priced at $249.95. While customers can order directly from Shokz's website and Best Buy immediately, Amazon availability is slated for March 2026. This release positions Shokz at the forefront of open-ear audio innovation.
