Summary
- Samsung S90F offers excellent contrast, colors, and gaming performance.
- TV pricing aggressive, potentially cheaper than LG C5, especially during sales.
- Features VRR up to 144Hz on all HDMI ports for superior gaming.
The Samsung S90F OLED TV stands out for its excellent contrast, saturated colors, and impressive gaming capabilities, making it ideal for both movie buffs and gamers. While most OLEDs command high prices, the S90F offers a strong performance, serving as a worthy update to its predecessors.
Recent aggressive price reductions, especially during sales events like Prime Day, have made the S90F highly competitive. Analysts anticipate similar discounts leading up to Black Friday and the holiday season, suggesting it may be a more budget-friendly choice than direct competitors like the LG C5.
For gamers, the S90F boasts VRR support up to 144Hz across all HDMI ports, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience. This feature, combined with its brighter picture compared to some rivals, provides a distinct advantage for engaging in fast-paced games.
The TV's design is sleek, featuring an ultra-slim screen and an all-in-one setup, simplifying installation whether wall-mounted or placed on a stand. Its smart TV platform is user-friendly, offering access to a wide range of streaming services and gaming apps like Steam Link and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
