Samsung has unveiled its new Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 Wi-Fi speakers, set for a March release. These models showcase a distinctive modern design by Erwan Bouroullec and are poised to compete with established smart speaker brands. Both speakers will offer support for voice commands via Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung's own Bixby, enhancing smart home integration and user interaction.
The Music Studio series will feature Spotify Tap and Spotify Connect, allowing users to initiate playlists with a simple touch. The Music Studio 7 model is particularly noteworthy for its ability to stream lossless Spotify Premium content in FLAC format up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz, and other content up to 24-bit/96kHz. Buyers opting for Alexa will get Amazon Music as default, while Google Assistant users will have YouTube Music as their default streaming service.
