Summary
- Samsung's new Micro RGB TVs offer intense color blending for striking visuals.
- Models start at $1,600 for a 55-inch R85H, significantly cheaper than previous versions.
- These TVs are ideal for content with excessively colorful and vibrant imagery.

Samsung is making its groundbreaking Micro RGB television technology more accessible, moving beyond the realm of ultra-luxury.
Previously seen on prohibitively expensive, large-screen models, Micro RGB now arrives in more consumer-friendly sizes and price points. This technology utilizes thousands of tiny red, green, and blue LEDs to achieve enhanced color blending and a more striking picture, akin to mini LED but with finer control.
The new R85H series starts at $1,600 for a 55-inch model with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the R95H offers a 65-inch display for $3,200 with a 165Hz refresh rate. These TVs are designed for viewers who appreciate intensely colorful content.
While capable of astonishing vibrancy, even to the point of appearing unreal on certain settings, the R95H boasts features like Samsung's "Micro-RGB AI Engine Pro" for enhanced professional-level colors and HDR. It aims to deliver true-to-life color accuracy, hitting the BT.2020 color gamut, though the "Vivid" mode can result in hyper-saturated visuals.
Options range from the 55-inch R85H at $1,600 up to an 85-inch model for $4,000. A 100-inch model is expected later in 2026.
