Samsung's latest R95H Micro RGB TV introduces a significant leap in display technology by incorporating individually controllable blue LEDs. This innovation allows for a broader spectrum of colors with remarkable accuracy, challenging the dominance of OLED displays. The Micro RGB panel provides contrast and detailing that rivals OLEDs, but crucially, it avoids the issue of screen burn-in.
The R95H leverages advanced Micro LED technology with millions of specially designed micro lenses and a focusing lens to minimize color bleed, achieving up to 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut. It boasts a 165Hz base refresh rate, with support for up to 240Hz for gaming, alongside AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for tear-free visuals. The TV is powered by a new Micro RGB AI Engine Pro chip for enhanced upscaling and processing.
This new television integrates Samsung Vision AI, offering personalized recommendations, Microsoft Copilot access, and a generative wallpaper mode. A dedicated AI Soccer Mode automatically optimizes settings for sports broadcasts. Despite its advanced features and picture quality, the R95H comes with a premium price tag, starting at $3,200 for the 65-inch model and reaching $6,500 for the 85-inch version.
