Samsung Electronics America has introduced Spatial Signage, a commercial display system designed to deliver glasses-free 3D visuals for physical environments. The technology aims to revolutionize how businesses approach visual communication in settings like retail stores, museums, and large venues. Unlike traditional 3D displays requiring eyewear, this system is integrated into a slim, 2-inch panel.
The core of the technology is Samsung's proprietary 3D Plate, which employs a specialized optical layer to create a perceived depth directly from the screen. The 85-inch model, SM85HX, boasts a vertical 4K UHD resolution, ideal for high-visibility locations. Smaller 32-inch and 55-inch versions are slated for release later in 2026.
