Samsung's Galaxy S26 FE is anticipated to launch in early September, with a new report detailing its specifications. The device is expected to be available in dark gray, light green, and light blue color options. It will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
Powering the Galaxy S26 FE will be Samsung's Exynos 2500 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The rear camera system is said to include a 50-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 12-megapixel front-facing camera is also expected.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, and NFC, along with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The phone will house a 4,900mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging support, and is expected to run Android 17 with Samsung's One UI. Pricing leaks point to a recommended retail price of €799 (approximately USD $922).
This projected price has led to speculation that the existing Galaxy S26 Plus, which is reportedly available for around €700 (approximately USD $808), might offer better value. The S26 Plus is rumored to come with more storage and superior display and camera hardware, making the S26 FE's pricing a key point of discussion.
