Summary
- Samsung's Quick Share will soon work with Apple devices.
- The new feature is rolling out in an update this week.
- This aims to improve cross-operating system compatibility.

Samsung is set to launch a new feature this week enabling its Galaxy phones to share content with Apple devices. The update will introduce a "Share with Apple devices" toggle within the Quick Share settings menu.
Upon enabling this feature, Galaxy users can discover and send files to iPhones by opening the Quick Share interface. For this to work, an iPhone must have its AirDrop settings configured to "Everyone" to be visible.
This cross-platform compatibility mirrors functionality previously added to Google's Pixel phones last fall. Samsung has stated that this AirDrop-like capability will eventually extend to more Galaxy models, beginning with the S26 series.
The company emphasized that this initiative is part of its ongoing strategy to ensure its devices are compatible with various operating systems. Given the global popularity of both Samsung and Apple phones, this feature could rapidly become widespread, especially if it reaches more affordable Galaxy models.
