Fridge AI Gets Smarter: Major Samsung Update Released

Samsung's Bespoke refrigerators are now receiving a substantial software update focused on enhancing their artificial intelligence features. This update aims to significantly improve the AI's capabilities in areas like automatic food recognition and meal planning, functionalities that have been available on these appliances for a few years but were considered a work in progress.

Previously, the AI could identify approximately 60 types of fresh produce and around 50 packaged goods. However, users often had to manually input additional data, such as item quantity or addition dates, which made the AI-assisted grocery tracking less convenient. This new software aims to streamline these processes, making the smart features more practical and less burdensome for daily kitchen use.
