Yastreb 1.0: Russia's New Electronic Warfare Breakthrough

Russian specialists are preparing for field tests of the Yastreb 1.0 intelligent electronic warfare system, developed by NPP Design Bureau. These crucial tests are scheduled to commence within the next month. The Yastreb 1.0 represents a significant advancement, moving beyond traditional jamming generator architectures that required multiple antennas and heavy components.

This innovative system integrates electronic warfare capabilities with advanced electronic reconnaissance. It excels at rapidly scanning the 100 MHz to 6 GHz frequency band, a notable improvement over existing solutions. The system's ability to simultaneously identify threats and neutralize enemy drones ensures a swift, automated response.

Further development aims to refine its versatile operating modes, including a smart mode that dynamically avoids already jammed frequencies while continuing to monitor for frequency hopping in UAV transmitters.
