6 Jul
Summary
- New Delta-T-M drone reaches speeds up to 400 km/h.
- It monitors industrial sites, power lines, and pipelines.
- Drone features thermal imaging for day/night and fog detection.

Russia's Center for Autonomous Robotic Systems (CARS) has debuted its new Delta-T-M drone at the Innoprom-2026 exhibition. This high-speed unmanned aerial vehicle is engineered for mass production, aiming to enhance security for critical industrial facilities such as oil and gas infrastructures and energy sites.
The Delta-T-M drone is designed to bolster operations for the Emergency Ministry and forest protection agencies. It addresses key challenges including perimeter monitoring for unauthorized access and cost-effective oversight of extensive pipelines and power lines.
Powered by a Russian turbojet engine, the drone achieves speeds of up to 400 km/h shortly after catapult launch. Its advanced imaging systems deliver high-resolution visible and thermal spectrum visuals, effective even in fog or smoke.
The drone is equipped with a sensitive thermal imager and an automatic target tracker that can lock onto suspicious vehicles. Its intelligent vision system automates camera operations, allowing it to track moving objects within a 300-meter radius. With a flight duration of approximately 40 minutes, it efficiently surveys linear infrastructure, transmitting data in real-time.
