Roku's Smart Redesign: AI Powers Your Entertainment Hub

Roku has launched a major overhaul of its Home menu, the first in more than ten years, promising a more intuitive and personalized user experience. This extensive redesign focuses on leveraging AI to surface relevant content and streamline navigation for users of Roku TVs and streaming devices.

The updated interface features AI-powered Quick Access, which intelligently displays your most frequently used applications for immediate access. Complementing this is the "Top Picks for You" section, offering tailored movie and show suggestions based on viewing habits and trending content.

Further enhancing personalization, Roku introduces "Your Daily Scoop," a real-time feed highlighting trending topics and shows, with recommendations aggregated from all your subscriptions. A new "Destinations" section provides curated hubs for genres like horror or family content, simplifying content discovery.

The Home Screen Menu has been streamlined, tucking away less frequent options like Settings and Search until needed. Shortcuts provide easy access to features such as "Continue Watching," and a new tile links directly to an interactive Roku City screensaver experience.

This redesigned Home Screen is currently rolling out in the U.S., with a global rollout planned. Roku assures users that the update will arrive automatically, aiming to make finding and enjoying content faster and more efficient.
