A groundbreaking hotel experience is on the horizon with the announcement of China's first full-scenario robot-serviced hotel, slated to open in 2027 on West Artificial Island. Initial trial services are planned for late 2026, allowing early visitors to experience robot-assisted check-in and in-room deliveries. The hotel, featuring 44 high-end rooms, a restaurant, and a gym, will utilize a connected robot service system. This system ensures seamless operation across various tasks, with robots like the FlashBot for vending, the T300 for luggage, and cleaning robots equipped with AI waste detection.
The project, a collaboration between Pudu Robotics and Shenzhen Culture & Tourism Industry Development, aims to transform West Artificial Island into a hub for robotics in tourism. This initiative represents a significant step in exploring new service models where artificial intelligence and robotics combine to deliver an entirely automated hospitality experience, potentially redefining guest expectations for efficiency and convenience.
