- Features advanced object recognition to avoid furniture and cables.
- Offers powerful suction and edge cleaning for thorough results.

The Roborock Saros 20 has emerged as a top performer in robot vacuum testing, excelling in both suction power and mopping capabilities. Its impressive 36,000Pa suction and Adaptlift Chassis 3.0 allow it to navigate thresholds up to 3.46 inches. The updated StarSight 2.0 navigation system boasts recognition of over 300 object types, including furniture and cables, to prevent potential snags. This advanced system, paired with dual LiDAR, also enables a sleeker profile for cleaning under low furniture.
The Saros 20's redesigned dock offers rapid charging, fully refueling the vacuum in just two and a half hours. A standout feature is its mopping system, which heats water to 212°F (boiling) for pad sterilization and cleaning, followed by a 131°F air dry. This process eliminates odors and bacteria, ensuring a hygienic clean. The vacuum also features a separate detergent compartment for convenience, potentially allowing for two months of use without refills depending on cleaning frequency and floor conditions.
During testing, the Saros 20 demonstrated exceptional cleaning prowess, handling debris like Goldfish crackers, pistachio shells, and even long hair on carpets without tangling. Its dual-spinning mop pads, with one extending for edge cleaning, effectively tackled dried barbecue sauce stains, though some spots near walls required a second pass. While generally quieter than previous models, the device encountered minor issues such as getting stuck, mistaking room boundaries, and occasionally misinterpreting voice commands or cleaning instructions.
