29 Sep
Summary
- Rig Security launched with $12M seed funding to protect AI agent identities.
- New platform distinguishes AI agent activity from human users.
- Funding includes CrowdStrike Falcon Fund and Wiz co-founder participation.
Rig Security today announced its emergence from stealth, securing $12 million in seed funding led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Brightmind Partners, with significant participation from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund and Wiz Co-Founder Ami Luttwak. The funding will advance Rig's platform, designed to protect against the increasing vulnerability of AI agent identities. AI agents often borrow human or service account credentials, making their malicious actions indistinguishable from legitimate users in traditional security logs.
Rig's innovative platform discovers AI agents on endpoints and differentiates their activities from the identities they are operating through. It provides a real-time map of identity dependencies and enforces policies at runtime. This allows security teams to identify AI agent risks, reduce excessive access, and detect identity-based attacks without disrupting human users. The solution offers both Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) and Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) for both human and non-human identities.
The company is already working with Fortune 200 organizations in sectors like financial services and healthcare. Rig's technology, including its proprietary Rig Identity Correlation Engine (RICE), aims to secure identity in the age of AI. CEO Guy Kozliner highlighted the shift from people-centric identity to agentic identity, emphasizing Rig's role in providing visibility and control over AI agents operating within enterprise systems.
