The Redmi Turbo 5 has officially launched in India, marking the debut of the "Turbo" series in the country.
This new device boasts a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 3,500 nits peak brightness. It also features a 480Hz touch sampling rate and 3,840Hz PWM dimming for enhanced visual experience, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, the Redmi Turbo 5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra, built on a 4nm process. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, running on HyperOS 3 with promises of extensive OS and security updates.
Designed for performance enthusiasts, the phone includes a 5,300mm2 thermal cooling system supporting 120FPS gaming. It also features Dolby Atmos certified stereo speakers and connectivity options like Bluetooth 6.0 and WiFi 7.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, capable of 4K 60FPS recording with OIS and EIS. For selfies, there's a 20MP front camera.
A standout feature is the substantial 7,540 mAh battery, which supports 100W fast charging. Xiaomi states a full charge takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
The Redmi Turbo 5 is available starting at Rs 35,999 for the 8GB+256GB model, with the 12GB+256GB variant priced at Rs 38,999. Sales commence on June 19 across major online and retail platforms.
