The original Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, first released in 2021, are proving to be a lasting choice, particularly with significant Black Friday sales reducing their price to around $238.99. Despite the recent launch of the Gen 2 model, the initial version retains much of its functionality, including photo and video capture, hands-free calls, and AI-driven features.

These AI capabilities are central to the user experience, allowing for voice commands to take pictures, identify landmarks, seek recipes, and perform real-time language translations.
