Rajgir Zoo Safari was honored with the national 'Best Use of Technology' award at the recent Eco Warrior Awards 2024. This recognition highlights the safari's successful integration of technology into wildlife conservation and visitor management. Initiatives like QR-based ticketing and real-time GPS tracking of safari vehicles have been implemented to optimize visitor entry, minimize wait times, and regulate vehicle density.

A dedicated central control room, supported by comprehensive CCTV surveillance, ensures continuous monitoring of visitor areas and animal enclosures, thereby strengthening security. The safari also leverages technology for conservation education, employing digital storytelling, animations, and interactive experiences to inform visitors about biodiversity and wildlife protection.

These advancements aim to improve the overall visitor experience while bolstering wildlife conservation efforts. The award marks a significant achievement for Ram Sundar, the director, as the first IFS officer from Bihar to receive an Eco Warrior Award.
