Bajaj has introduced an updated Pulsar NS400z, adapting it to India's evolving fiscal landscape under the new GST 2.0 regulations. The motorcycle's engine capacity has been reduced from 373 cc to 349 cc, resulting in a significant price reduction from Rs 1.92 lakh to Rs 1.82 lakh.
Visually, the Pulsar NS400z retains its aggressive silhouette, featuring distinctive lightning-bolt DRLs, a projector headlamp, and champagne gold USD forks. On the road, it offers a throaty exhaust note and a front-forward riding position. While peak power has slightly decreased from 43 PS to 40.6 PS and torque from 35 Nm to 33.2 Nm, the performance remains impressively explosive, with a 0-100 km/h time of 6.8 seconds.
The 349-cc engine demonstrates strong mid-range power, enabling quick acceleration from 30 km/h to 120 km/h. It can effortlessly cruise at 120 km/h on highways, with a claimed top speed of 156.6 km/h. The bike is expected to offer improved fuel economy, around 30-35 km/l. Its agile handling is further enhanced by an underbelly exhaust, facilitating neat cornering.
