Poco F8 Pro: Flagship Power, Budget Price!

The Poco F8 Pro offers a compelling blend of features typically found in high-end smartphones, presented at an accessible price point. It utilizes the first-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with 12GB of RAM, ensuring swift performance for everyday tasks and even demanding applications.

A standout feature is its substantial 6,210mAh battery, complemented by extremely rapid 100W charging that can fully power the device in approximately 42 minutes. This combination ensures prolonged usage and minimal downtime.

Its 6.59-inch 120Hz OLED display is praised for its size, brightness, and color accuracy, making it ideal for content consumption. The phone also includes a 2.5x telephoto camera, a first for Poco's Pro lineup, though it lacks optical image stabilization.

Launched at £549, the Poco F8 Pro is now available for approximately £449 in the UK, positioning it as a strong value contender against rivals like the Google Pixel 10a and Nothing Phone (4a).

While the F8 Pro delivers impressive core functionalities, it does involve compromises. These include slower USB speeds, occasional gaming slowdowns, and pre-installed bloatware with ads in native apps. It also lacks wireless charging and an included charger.

The device runs HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16 and is slated to receive four major Android updates and five years of security updates, offering good long-term support despite potential delays in update rollouts.
