Lumma Stealer, a Russian-developed information stealer sold as a Malware-as-a-Service, harvests browser passwords, authentication cookies, payment information, and cryptocurrency wallet data. Recent campaigns appear less sophisticated, lacking traditional droppers or persistence mechanisms, focusing instead on immediate credential theft. Security experts recommend avoiding pirated film downloads and enabling file extensions in Windows Explorer as preventative measures against such threats.
