Pinterest is introducing a new beta feature called 'Restyle,' designed to help users visualize home redesigns and decor comparisons directly within their own spaces. This AI-powered tool allows users to upload photos of their rooms and experiment with different styles, furniture, and accessories. Users can prompt the AI to add or swap items, change lighting, or even re-imagine their room in entirely new aesthetics like 'bohemian' or 'industrial'.

The foundation of this new capability, Pinterest Intelligence, leverages Nvidia Blackwell GPUs and Nvidia Dynamo, combined with open-source models and proprietary Pinterest technology. This integration is expected to enhance visual search requests and convert user searches into signals for AI-driven discovery and shopping. While similar features exist, integrating 'Restyle' directly into Pinterest could significantly boost conversion rates by enabling users to see how saved items might look in their actual homes, thereby completing the journey from inspiration to purchase.

The 'Restyle' feature was first previewed at Pinterest's annual Pinterest Presents event, alongside other advertising tools. It is currently in early preview and is expected to see a broader rollout next month.
