Ozlo Revives Sleepbuds with Bluetooth Audio
5 Mar
Summary
- New Sleepbuds stream audio via Bluetooth for music playback.
- They offer comfortable wear for side sleepers and good noise isolation.
- The companion app has some kinks, and the case is needed for streaming.

Former Bose engineers have revived the popular noise-masking Sleepbuds under their new Ozlo brand. The original 2018 design is largely preserved, ensuring a comfortable fit for side sleepers and effective passive noise isolation. A key upgrade is the addition of Bluetooth streaming, allowing users to play music or other audio directly from their phones, a feature absent in the original Bose models.
While the Sleepbuds effectively mask ambient noise with sounds like rain or waves, and include a personal alarm function, some aspects are still under development. The companion app for iOS and Android requires further refinement. Additionally, when streaming audio, the charging case must be kept nearby as it facilitates the Bluetooth connection. The buds themselves are rated for up to 10 hours of battery life.
