Oppo's Find N6: The Foldable Phone with No Visible Crease

Oppo is set to launch its Find N6 foldable phone next week, on March 17th, featuring a display that Oppo claims has the world's first "zero-feel crease." While not entirely absent, the crease is remarkably subtle, visible only under specific lighting conditions and with close inspection. This near-invisibility is achieved through an innovative 3D liquid printing process that meticulously smooths out variations in the underlying hinge to an average of just 0.05mm.

The company also highlights the use of a more durable foldable glass, designed to resist deformation and maintain the screen's integrity over time. Early demonstrations suggest that repeated folding does not worsen the crease. Key confirmed specifications for the Find N6 include at least one 200-megapixel camera, stylus support, and IP56, IP58, and IP59 dust and water resistance ratings. The phone is also notably thin, comparable to previous slim models and competitors.
