Studies indicate that while AI may boost output, it can lead to work of marginal scientific merit. Questions also arise about data privacy, as Prism does not currently use 'Zero Data Retention' and maintains logs, though OpenAI states it doesn't train on API data by default.
The workspace will be freely available for individuals with ChatGPT personal accounts, with plans to roll out to business and education users. Future, more advanced AI features are expected to be available through paid ChatGPT plans.
