- Targeted at home bakers, the Halo Core costs $599 and launches on August 4.

Ooni is intensifying its competition with KitchenAid by preparing to release its second stand mixer, the Halo Core. This new appliance features a distinctive spiral mixing technique, a method typically found in professional bakeries, designed to enhance gluten development and dough quality for home bakers.
The Halo Core utilizes a rotating bowl rather than stationary attachments, a significant departure from the conventional planetary mixing design. Ooni asserts that this engineering advancement bridges the gap between everyday baking and professional bakery results, addressing common home baking failures attributed to mixer limitations.
Compared to its predecessor, the Halo Pro, the Halo Core is 20% smaller and 30% lighter, though it still weighs 23.2 lbs. This model is specifically targeted at home bakers, offering professional appeal in a compact form factor.
Scheduled for release on August 4, the Ooni Halo Core will be available for $599 (£499), positioning it directly against the KitchenAid Artisan Pro. It includes a 4.7-quart stainless steel bowl, 20 speed levels, LED lighting, a spiral dough hook, and attachments for mixing, whipping, and beating.
