OnePlus 15 vs. Galaxy S25 Ultra: Camera Showdown
3 Feb
Summary
- OnePlus 15 no longer shares Hasselblad branding or features.
- Samsung S25 Ultra boasts a 200MP main camera vs. OnePlus's 50MP.
- OnePlus 15 excels in extreme zoom and low-light scenarios.

The OnePlus 15, launched late last year, has been rigorously tested against flagship competitors, particularly the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. A significant change for the OnePlus 15 is the discontinuation of its Hasselblad branding, which means features like XPAN mode are no longer available.
In terms of hardware, the OnePlus 15 features a triple 50-megapixel rear camera system, including a 116-degree ultrawide and a 3.5x optical zoom periscope lens. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra counters with a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide, and dual telephoto lenses (10MP 3x and 50MP 5x optical zoom).
During testing at Six Flags Amusement Park, the Samsung S25 Ultra's 200MP sensor captured finer textures in daylight, but the OnePlus 15 performed better in certain challenging low-light situations, producing sharper images.
