At CES 2026, the OlloBot captivated attendees with its unique design, featuring a furry, telescoping neck. This cyber pet robot uses a large tablet for its face, displaying emotions and messages. It communicates in its own language but shows text for important information, and a companion app allows families to interact remotely.
OlloBot is designed to learn and grow with its users, developing a personality based on Meyers-Briggs types. It responds to voice and touch, can make calls, help locate lost items, and control Matter-compatible smart home devices. Crucially, all data is stored locally on a removable heart-shaped module, ensuring privacy and offering a way to restore memories if the robot is damaged.
Production funding through a Kickstarter campaign is planned for summer 2026. Two versions will be available: a smaller model costing around $1,000 and an advanced version with an extended neck priced at approximately $2,000. The team also showcased various outfits, adding a customizable element to the robot.
