The compromised data includes a wide range of personal information. Stolen details encompass customer names, telephone numbers, email addresses, bank account numbers, dates of birth, and passport numbers. This incident represents one of the largest data exposures in the Netherlands.
Odido has stated that the unauthorized access to its customer contact system has been terminated. The company reassured customers that their mobile phone usage remains secure. The breach has been officially reported to the Dutch data protection authority, AP, for further investigation.
