Oben Electric has introduced the Rorr Evo motorcycle in India, with an introductory price of Rs 99,999 for the initial 10,000 buyers. This launch positions the Rorr Evo as a direct competitor to the Matter Aera 5000 electric motorcycle. The Rorr Evo is equipped with a 3.4 kWh LFP battery delivering 250 Nm of torque and offering 80% charge in 90 minutes. It boasts a certified range of 180 km and a top speed of 110 km/h. The battery has enhanced heat resistance and a longer lifecycle, backed by an 8-year warranty.
In comparison, the Matter Aera 5000 features a larger 5 kWh battery, producing 11.5 kW peak power and 450 Nm of torque. Its charging capabilities include a 1.5-hour fast charge for 80% capacity, with a normal charge taking 5 hours. The Aera 5000 has a top speed of 105 km/h and a claimed range of 172 km. The Oben Rorr Evo's price will eventually rise to Rs 1.25 lakh, while the Matter Aera 5000 is priced at Rs 1.81 lakh.
