Nothing Phones: No Flagship in 2026!
30 Jan
Summary
- Company confirms no new flagship phone in 2026.
- Nothing Phone 3 to remain the high-end option.
- A lower-cost Nothing Phone 4A is currently in development.

In a recent video announcement, Nothing confirmed that it has no plans to launch a new flagship smartphone in 2026. The $799 Nothing Phone 3 will continue to serve as the brand's premium offering for the year. This marks a departure from an annual flagship release cycle.
The company's CEO, Carl Pei, stated that the intention is to ensure each upgrade feels substantial before introducing new top-tier models. Following this announcement, Nothing also revealed that a more budget-friendly Nothing Phone 4A is currently in development. This aligns with their strategy of releasing accessible options, evidenced by the Nothing Phone 2A and 3A released in 2024 and early 2025.
This move comes as other major tech companies, such as Samsung and Apple, are anticipated to release new flagship devices soon. In addition to phones, Nothing also teased the upcoming release of more over-ear headphones, building on their previous headphone model.
