Summary
- Nothing unveils 4A and 4A Pro, with the Pro adopting a new metal unibody design.
- The 4A Pro features a refined transparent design only on the camera module.
- Both phones receive three Android OS updates and six years of security patches.

Nothing has unveiled its newest midrange smartphones, the 4A and 4A Pro, presenting distinct design philosophies. The 4A Pro marks a significant departure, embracing a metal unibody construction instead of the brand's characteristic transparent design. Transparency is now subtly integrated into the camera module, which features an enhanced Glyph Matrix display. This new model will be available in the US later this month.
The standard 4A, however, retains Nothing's familiar transparent aesthetic and the new Glyph Bar lighting. It comes in a vibrant array of colors, including pink and blue. While the 4A offers a classic Nothing look, the 4A Pro boasts a slightly larger, brighter, and faster display, a thinner profile due to its metal design, a more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, and IP65 water resistance.
Both the 4A and 4A Pro share identical main camera hardware and a 5,080mAh battery (5,400mAh in India). They are promised three major Android OS updates and six years of security patches. Availability varies by region, with both phones launching in the UK, Europe, and India, but only the 4A Pro releasing in the US. The regular 4A starts at £349 / €349, with preorders open now for a March 13th release. The 4A Pro is priced at $499 / £499 / €479, with preorders beginning March 13th for a March 27th launch.
Additionally, Nothing introduced the Headphone A, an over-ear model that lowers the price by $100, featuring a more opaque design. Notably, Nothing has confirmed no flagship Phone 4 will be released this year, positioning the 4A Pro as the company's most powerful phone hardware for 2026.
