HMD has introduced the Nokia 2360 Flip, a new feature phone focusing on ease of use and connectivity, targeting students and seniors. This clamshell device features a dedicated SOS button for emergency situations.
The standout feature is the Family Assist app, enabling family members to remotely manage the phone. This includes adding contacts, setting reminders, and adjusting settings via SMS, even without a data plan on the managed device.
Safety is enhanced with a dedicated SOS button that, when held for three seconds, calls a preset number and alerts up to five emergency contacts via text. Parents can configure these contacts and messages through the Family Assist app.
Additionally, built-in parental controls, managed via a Family PIN, allow for features like School Mode, restricting usage to clock and emergency calls. Parents can also permit calls only from approved contacts and block certain apps.
The Nokia 2360 Flip features a 2.8-inch main display with large icons and text, plus a 1.77-inch external display for caller ID. It comes with a removable 1,450mAh battery and is available in Charcoal, Burgundy Red, and Teal.
