The premium Roomba Max 775 Combo Robot, costing $1,000, includes LiDAR mapping, obstacle avoidance cameras, and a self-emptying dock designed for up to three months of hands-free operation. It also features a unique roller mop that cleans edges and avoids carpets.
Additional models include the $800 Roomba Plus 575 with LiDAR mapping and self-lifting mop pads for carpet transitions. The $700 Roomba Plus 515 and $600 Roomba Plus 415 offer self-emptying and self-cleaning docks, with the 515 providing hot water mop cleaning. These releases are the first for Roomba in the U.S. following its bankruptcy filing and acquisition by Picea Robotics late last year. The new models are available for purchase today on iRobot's website, showcasing the company's renewed presence in the consumer robotics market.
