New wireless earbuds have been released today for $99, a price point that stands out amidst rising costs. These earbuds introduce a unique feature allowing users to record audio playing through them, along with a short preroll, via a function called Audio Snapshot. The recordings sync to a mobile app for sharing and editing.
The earbuds also feature 32MB of internal storage to facilitate these recording functions. Additionally, they can record phone calls, though these recordings are limited to approximately two hours due to storage constraints. Both Audio Snapshots and call recordings are accessible through the associated mobile application.
Further enhancements include new 12mm drivers for improved bass response and broader frequency range noise cancellation. An extra-small ear tip size is now provided, and a new pink color option is available, joining the existing black, white, and yellow choices. This launch coincides with the release of a budget handset in select markets.
