Apple is gearing up to release new noise-cancelling Beats headphones, identified by model number A3577, which have recently appeared in regulatory filings. These potential Beats 360 headphones are rumored to offer a substantial upgrade in noise cancellation compared to current models. Early leaks also suggest features like spatial audio and an IPX4 sweat and water resistance rating.
The design of the upcoming Beats is drawing comparisons to Apple's AirPods Max, with cushioned earcups and a knitted headband. Leaked images indicate availability in several color options, including pink, white, and blue, with a suggested retail price of $299. This would be Apple's first new Beats headphone release since the Solo 4 in 2024.
Evidence of these headphones has also appeared unofficially, with athletes being spotted wearing them during the FIFA World Cup. While Apple has not confirmed any details, the consistent leaks suggest an imminent launch, though likely not during the September iPhone event. The company typically announces Beats products through press releases.
