MSI has announced its latest innovation, the MPG OLED 322URDX36, a 31.5-inch gaming monitor that achieves 4K resolution at a 360Hz refresh rate. This display introduces a novel triple-mode technology, offering gamers the flexibility to select between 4K at 360Hz, 2K at 520Hz, or FHD at 680Hz, catering to varied play styles and preferences. The monitor utilizes a 5th-generation QD-OLED panel incorporating Samsung's Penta Tandem technology, designed for enhanced efficiency, brightness, and extended lifespan.
Further enhancing its gaming prowess, the MPG OLED 322URDX36 includes features like an AI Care Sensor to prevent OLED burn-in, a full-bandwidth DisplayPort 2.1a, and a 98-watt USB Type-C port. Complementing this launch, MSI also revealed its Pro Max lineup of productivity monitors, specifically designed with Mac users in mind. These include QD-OLED models like the 27-inch 4K Pro Max 271UPXW12G, offering high pixel density and deep blacks, along with KVM switches for multi-device control.
The Pro Max series also features non-OLED IPS monitors, such as the Pro Max 271QPHW E14, which includes MSI's EyesErgo+ ecosystem for reduced eye strain. These productivity monitors aim to provide Mac users with alternatives to premium displays, featuring advanced color validation and connectivity options, though North American pricing and availability for most models remain unconfirmed as of this announcement.
