MSI has unveiled its latest enthusiast-grade desktop, the MEG Vision X2 AI+ PC, ahead of Computex 2026. This high-end system integrates bleeding-edge components, including up to an Intel "Arrow Lake Refresh" Core Ultra CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. However, its most distinctive feature is the holographic AI avatar of MSI's dragon mascot, Lucky, housed in a front-mounted cylinder.
Dubbed "LuckyClaw," this AI avatar acts as the visual interface for the PC's new agentic AI. It responds to user queries via voice or on-screen input, providing explanations from within what MSI calls its "AI Holostage." The holographic projection uses a vertical panel and projection technology to create a 3D effect, though a specific viewing angle is recommended for the optimal experience.
During a preview, LuckyClaw demonstrated its ability to detail MSI's product specifications, particularly its Computex 2026 lineup, as its LLM training data was focused on these areas. The AI avatar, which features golden lobster-style claws and armor, clearly runs locally on the PC's powerful hardware. However, when asked about unrelated topics like weather or sports, LuckyClaw indicated it was out of its scope, politely redirecting the conversation back to MSI technology.
MSI has not yet announced pricing or regional availability for the MEG Vision X2 AI+ PC, but it is expected to be a premium offering. This innovative integration of an AI avatar provides a unique and interactive centerpiece for gaming setups, offering a more engaging user experience than traditional text-based interfaces.
