Motorola has unveiled a teaser for its next Razr smartphone, signaling a shift away from the iconic flip design. A recently shared video hints at a new model that will adopt a book-style foldable structure, featuring a compact, wider form factor.
This new direction for the Razr line appears to embrace a trend seen in other major foldable releases this year, with devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the rumored iPhone Duo also favoring broader screen ratios. The teaser showcases a silhouette suggesting a more robust build compared to earlier Razr models.
The company has been actively expanding its foldable offerings. In addition to several clamshell Razr variants, Motorola recently introduced its first full-sized foldable phone, the Motorola Razr Fold. This strategic push aims to compete with established players in the foldable smartphone arena.
